I have always casually worked out at the gym normally lifting some weights here and there, machines, ate relatively healthy but allowed whatever amount I felt was needed, also allowed days where I ate like shit. Drink alcohol on weekends typically nothing crazy. I recently went on a 2 month trip where I almost exclusively ate fast food and drank everyday, did mostly hiking no gym at all. After the trip got serious at the gym 2 months ago and recently started tracking macros and calories that I burn at the gym, I go everyday for 1-2 hours. Eat extremely healthy, track everything. 1 month into that.
